In honor of the 6th annual National Feed a Rescue Pet Week (July 24-30, 2022), GOODS, a program of Greater Good Charities and The Animal Rescue Site celebrates the resilience of shelter pets.
The goal of this charitable week is to provide 3 million meals to support animal welfare organizations across the U.S.
One of the biggest expenses for shelters and rescue groups is feeding the animals in their care. Providing pet meals to animal welfare organizations in need allows these organizations to allocate funds elsewhere like medical care and treatment, vaccines, adoption programs, etc.
