Blue Buffalo will be the official pet food sponsor for Stray Rescue of St. Louis for the next three years. As part of new partnership agreement, Stray Rescue will receive premium food for dogs and cats waiting for adoption.

With more than 100 animals at the shelter at any given time, the two organizations will work together on programs that encourage animal adoption.

“As a company of pet lovers that is solely focused on the well-being of dogs and cats, Blue Buffalo is proud to partner with Stray Rescue of St. Louis,” said David Petrie, President of Blue Buffalo Foundation. “It is our privilege to provide BLUE dog and cat food for the terrific pets at Stray Rescue that are waiting for a loving, forever home.”

Blue Buffalo’s support for pet shelters

With millions of homeless pets in shelters across the country, Blue Buffalo supports orphan dogs and cats through local and national pet adoption programs throughout the year.

“The animals we rescue come from deplorable situations and are forced to scrounge for food out on the streets,” said Stray Rescue’s Founder, Randy Grim. “It makes me feel so good that once they’re in the loving arms of Stray Rescue, they’ll be fed high quality, nutritious food that is a vital component of their recovery and rehabilitation. We’re incredibly appreciative of Blue Buffalo for their partnership and shared loved of the abused and neglected animals of our city.”
