Percuro donates to Stokenchurch Dog Rescue

Percuro makes donation to English dog charity.

Formally known as The High Wycombe & District Dog Rescue and Welfare Society, Stokenchurch Dog Rescue was set up by local residents 59 years ago to help save and re-home abandoned, stray and unwanted pets. With a non-destruct policy, the registered charity has since re-homed thousands of dogs, including those impounded by the police, who have since stopped providing this service with unwanted dogs placed in local council dog pounds instead. Stokenchurch Dog Rescue collaborates with these services by assisting in the re-homing of such dogs.

Percuro's CEO, Brett Vye said, “We are delighted to lend our support to the incredible team in recognition of the legacy of accomplishments Stokenchurch Dog Rescue has fulfilled by successfully rescuing and rehoming thousands of dogs in need since 1963.

Percuro is mission driven, and it is important for us to remain true to our guiding principles by extending our brand’s philanthropic commitment to the dog welfare community.

It is well documented that the past two years have proven to be particularly challenging for many pet shelters. As a consequence of high inflation and the recent surge in running costs, animal charities are now in desperate need for help from the pet food industry.

Percuro is stepping up to that need by providing over 300kg of sustainable, hypoallergenic pet food using ethically farmed insect protein and locally sourced mindful ingredients, which not only support a dog’s body and mind, but is gentle on our planet too.
