Hillenbrand has acquired Schenck Process Food and Performance Materials (FPM)

FPM will transition its name to Coperion in August.

Effective August 1, 2024, Schenck Process Food and Performance Materials (FPM) will undergo a name transition to Coperion following its acquisition by Hillenbrand in September 2023. Coperion, an operating company of Hillenbrand with over 140 years of industry experience, will absorb Schenck Process FPM to expand its offerings in critical processing industries.

Despite the name change, the expertise, team members, manufacturing sites and technologies of Schenck Process FPM, including flagship brands such as Raymond and Bartlett-Snow, Stock, Baker Perkins, Kemutec and Mucon, will remain intact. Customers can expect a seamless transition with enhanced resources and broader technology capabilities available through Coperion.

Ulrich Bartel, president of Coperion, views the transition as a pivotal step towards diversification and expansion. Matthew Craig, vice president and general manager of Schenck Process FPM, emphasizes the alignment with Coperion as an opportunity to offer customers a wider range of solutions, technologies,and services, ultimately delivering greater value.

The evolution to the Coperion name will reflect in the company's digital presence, with the schenckprocessfpm.com domain transitioning to coperion.com. Website URLs and emails, including those from associated technology brands like Baker Perkins, will be updated accordingly. The new website can be accessed at coperion.com/fpm.
