Symrise holds annual meeting

Dr. Jean-Yves Parisot, in his first address as Symrise CEO, welcomed nearly 350 shareholders at the Annual General Meeting in Holzminden on May 15, 2024. He thanked his predecessor, Dr. Heinz-Jürgen Bertram, and presented an overview of Symrise’s development and strategy.

Stable Financial Performance and Growth

Parisot highlighted stable organic sales growth of nearly 8% for the 2023 fiscal year despite global uncertainties. Both divisions, Taste, Nutrition & Health, and Scent & Care, saw significant growth. For 2024, Symrise projects organic growth of 5-7%, with a notable 11% increase in first-quarter sales compared to the previous year. An efficiency program worth EUR 50 million aims to boost profitability.

Sustainability Commitment

Parisot emphasized Symrise's commitment to sustainability, aiming for net-zero status by 2045.

Shareholder Votes
