Hill's Pet receives accreditation

Hill's Pet Nutrition, a division of Colgate-Palmolive and a leader in science-led pet nutrition, has reached three significant sustainability milestones. The company has earned global Accreditation from the Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC), and its new headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas, has achieved both LEED Gold and WELL Certified Platinum certifications.

Global PSC Accreditation

• What It Means: The PSC Accreditation is awarded to companies that show significant commitment to sustainable practices and progress in environmental and social responsibility
• Criteria: Hill's exceeded scores in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Baseline, particularly in SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production)
• Impact: This accreditation sets a standard for the pet industry, showing that sustainability is essential to future growth

Headquarters Certifications

• LEED Gold: The new headquarters achieved LEED Gold certification for its energy-efficient and environmentally friendly design
• WELL Certified Platinum: It is the first building in Kansas to receive WELL Certification at any level, highlighting its focus on creating a healthy and inspiring work environment
