Petfood Industry’s annual Top Pet Food Companies magazine issue is now available, featuring exclusive data on the top pet food producers around the world in 2015. This exclusive list of top pet food companies is part of PetfoodIndustry.com’s Top Pet Food Companies database that houses information on more than 350 pet food companies worldwide.
This 2016 Petfood Industry Top Companies issue highlights the significant changes that have occurred in the global pet food market in recent years. Some of the typical leaders – including Mars Petcare, ranked No. 1 with US$17.224 billion in revenue in 2015, and Nestlé Purina PetCare, ranked No. 2 with 2015 revenue of US$11.917 billion – maintained their positions on top of this competitive landscape. However, recent acquisitions in the pet food industry also mean that one familiar market player, Procter & Gamble (P&G), is no longer in the rankings while Spectrum Brands/United Pet Group newly entered the Top Companies list for 2015 as a result of this P&G deal.
