LinkOne Ingredient Solutions, a leading U.S.-based food and pet food ingredient supplier and Agrocorp International, a Singapore-based agricultural commodities multinational, announce a partnership to form AgroLink, LLC.
Newly formed joint venture company to AgroLink will commence operations at a newly acquired grain elevator and state-of-the-art food grade pulse processing plant located in Cut Bank, Montana. The facility was previously owned by Pardue Grain, with the pulse processing line recently built and commissioned in 2019 with full stack cleaning, grading, and bagging capabilities. The facility comprises over 400,000 bu of storage capacity, a 10-railcar siding on the BNSF main line and has an annual handling capacity in excess of 1.5m bu as well as SQF Level 2 and Organic certifications.
AgroLink will utilize LinkOne’s extensive relationships with many of the key U.S. food and pet food manufacturers and Agrocorp’s global supply chains to find the best markets for peas, chickpeas, and lentils that are grown by farmers in Glacier County and surrounding areas.
Brad Riley, Chief Strategy Officer with LinkOne said, “This partnership allows us to expand our current base of operations in pet food ingredients and provides a great foundation to increase our efforts in our emerging food ingredient business.”
“We are very excited about this partnership with LinkOne, as well as the opportunity to enter the U.S. market. The facility in Cut Bank presents the perfect launching pad for AgroLink to become a leader in the U.S. pulses market,” added Vishal Vijay, Director of Strategic Investments at Agrocorp International.
