Muenster Milling expands exec team

Three new appointments bring a wealth of industry experience.

Muenster Milling Company, a leading manufacturer of freeze-dried and extruded pet food, has expanded its executive leadership team with the addition of three industry veterans. Matt Donnell has been appointed as chief financial officer, Dave DeLorenzo as vice president of sales, marketing & commercialization, and Andrew Chatterton as director of sales.

Matt Donnell brings over 30 years of financial leadership experience, having previously served as CFO of Parker Products and as COO and CFO of United 1 International Laboratories. Dave DeLorenzo has a wealth of experience in the pet industry, having worked with notable companies like Mars, Manna Pro/Compana Pet Brands and Vetscience. He has expertise in growing and scaling pet brands and has led various teams to launch new products and programs. Andrew Chatterton has over 25 years of global pet care industry experience, with a background in managing retail and distribution accounts and holding senior sales positions at companies such as Compana Pet Brands, Hero Pet Brands and Nestle Purina.

These new appointments come after the opening of Muenster's new vertically integrated freeze-drying facility in Denton, Texas. The company's CEO, Jim Holdrieth, expressed enthusiasm about the new team members, highlighting their potential to enhance Muenster's position as a strategic partner for pet brands and retailers by driving innovation and optimizing omni-channel strategies.
