Host Defense has launched Immune & Whole-Body Support, a mushroom supplement formulated for dogs and cats.
The supplement contains mushroom mycelium from five species: lion's mane, reishi, turkey tail, chaga and maitake. The blend is intended to support immune function, cellular health and DNA activity in pets, according to the company.
The mycelium is cultivated at Host Defense's farm in the Pacific Northwest. The product is a powder that can be given to pets orally and is intended for pets of all ages.
