The holistic pet food brand, Percuro Primal Pet Food, will attend The Kennel Club Discover Dogs event, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Cancelled due to Covid-19 in 2020, the show at ExCel London will provide prospective dog owners the opportunity to meet the breeders of over 150 different dog breeds and will demonstrate the importance when choosing the right breed of dog according to lifestyle and personal circumstances.
Established in 1996, this annual exhibition continues to be a key canine event in the calendar and helps to raise awareness of the extensive programs The Kennel Club participates in, including The Kennel Club Breed Rescue Organization, formed to help dogs less fortunate than most.
Brett Vye, CEO of the hypoallergenic insect-based dog food brand, Percuro Pet Food said, “Percuro is delighted toparticipate in the forthcoming dog exhibition in London. The Discover Dogs event will provide something for everyone, including present and prospective pet owners. This will be the first time we have participated in the show, and we look forward to welcoming dog lovers to our stand number TS160 to discuss insect protein based holistic nutrition that not only supports a dog’s body and mind but the planet too.
With so much concern conveyed over global warming, the pet food sector has become a focus with the need to produce alternative proteins in an environment where meat production is unable to keep up with demand. With pets consuming approximately 20% of the world’s meat and fish and contributing adversely to climate change, it is the responsibility of our industry to help protect the environment and secure a more sustainable future for all.”
